Customers can tell us their requirements when placing an order and we will customize API 5L X56 Pipe according to their needs.There are two product grades of X56 Pipe, namely PSL1 and PSL2.Both API 5L X56m PSL2 and PLS1 grades are suitable for welded pipes. However, for API 5L X56 PSL2 material, the steel should be quenched and melted in accordance with fine grain practices. In addition, plate or coil for X56 grade PSL2 pipe should not contain any repair welds.

2.) Coltan, Niobium and Vanadium or a combination thereof may be used at the discretion of the manufacturer.
3.) The sum of columbium1 , niobium, vanadium and titanium content shall not exceed 0.15%.
4.) The sum of columbium, niobium and vanadium content shall not exceed 0.06%, unless alternative maximum values can be determined by agreement between the purchaser and the manufacturer.
5.) Further chemical compositions may be supplied by agreement between the purchaser and the manufacturer, provided that the limits are footnoted and that the phosphorus and sulphur limits in the tables are met.

Wall Thickness: The minimum wall thickness at any point or end on API 5L pipe and tubing shall not be greater than 12.5% of the specified nominal thickness.
I.D.: For pipe ordered by I.D., the I.D. shall not deviate more than 1% from the required/specified I.D.
